Fabulous quick and tidy job from Matt at a good price.... we ve just had part of the garden re - fenced which was tricky in places. Matt talked to us for around two hours about various options , even though at that stage he knew we intended to get other quotes..... we looked no further and we are delighted with the result. Thank you Matt! There s plenty more where that came from.... you ll hear from us again!

Ship Lap and Timber Framed Stable

The Brief

My customer had a requirement for a timber stud and ship lap stable to house his sheep.

Results/Solution

Build completely bespoke to fit the hard standing which had previously been placed, this was built entirely by hand and to the customer specification.

Tanalised timber frames were erected along with the roof. Ship lap panels were then fitted along with a tin roof.  A walkway was created to allow the customer to access the inside without getting wet.  This structure also houses the fuel oil tank which had access doors fitted to allow access to the shut off valve and refueling point. (Note - gates were not fitted as part of this job)

New Fencing and Decking in Harrogate

The Brief

The customer had a young child and wanted to ensure the garden was a safe place for him to play. Currently the garden was split which created a 1.5mtr drop from the upper concreted area to the lawn below. A new patio had recently been laid however we were asked to build a fence which could allow the upper area to be completely separate form the lawn below. The different levels of concrete needed to be levelled out and an old coal bunker was to be removed to make way for a BBQ area.

Results/Solution

Decking was used to level out the top level creating uniform walkway from which the garden could be viewed. To this a BBQ area was created in place of the coal bunker. A strong fence and gate was built to ensure no children could fall down he slope and to allow adults to enjoy the garden. A large handrail acts as a surface to hold drinks. The fencing runs vertically to ensure no children could climb the fence and the gate is latched at the top of the stairs. The stairs were only refaced to ensure they were less slippy as the ridges now run across the steps to give better traction.

Driveway Tidy and Re-gravel

Driveway Clearance and Re-gravel

This property had just had a new tenant and the driveway required a clean and re-gravel as it had become unusable to park a car.

All the content was dug out and placed in a skip, the overgrown trees to the rear were trimmed so as not to scratch the car and after all this new cotswold gravel was laid to freshen the driveway up and provide a better surface for the vehicles.
