The Brief
A new stud wall was required to create a entrance area to the property, seperating the lounge form the doorway and helping with the insulation of the home.
Results/Solution
Carpet was lifted and a new timber stud was installed, a new door hung and door furniture installed. Architrave, coving and skirting was matched to the existing. The carpet was then refitted. The customer is happy with the finished result.

The Brief
The customer had wanted a new lawn and make a child friendly garden without the need for much garden maintenance.
Results/Solution
All borders, trees and shrubs were removed from the side areas to make way for the new lawn. The old turf was removed, tree stumps were grinded out by a contractor while the soil was prepared by rotavating and leveling to ensure it was ready to take the new turf. An area was provided to take the trampoline. Landscape fabric was laid under the bark to supress any weed growth. Separating the lawn and the bark by installing a timber edge was done to avoid migration of the bark onto the new lawn.

The Brief
The customer wanted to make the utility room easier to keep clean as it was where the dog was brought in from outside. Tiling the walls would make cleaning the walls much easier.
Results/Solution
The customer selected and purchased a Grey subway tile and white grout. Part tiling of the wall made more sense being the most cost effective solution. The end finish of the tiles looks great.

Due to a change in tenancy this shop outlet (previously a bakery) required a complete refurbishment to allow the unit to be changed into a barbers shop.
The scope of work undertaken:
Remove all tiling from walls
Remove all fixed catering equipment
Remove all stud (partition) walls
Remove all electrical wiring and plumbing
Install new stud walls to accommodate a kitchen and toilet
Plaster all walls and ceilings
Fit new skirting board throughout
Install loft insulation and fix leak in bitumen roof underfelt
Repair part rotten front windowsill
Decorate throughout ready for electrician and gas safe plumber to install electrical supplies and boiler.

The Brief
The customer wanted "Subway" tiles fitting as a splashback to protect the wall from staining. After measuring up - the tiles, and materials were purchased and transported to the property ready for tiling. While tiling the wall a trim was fitted to compliment the tiles.
The Brief
My customer wanted to refurbish the family bathroom for his tenants as they were expecting a baby in the new year. The old bathroom was functional but tired and needed a refurbishment.
Results/Solution
The old bathroom was removed along with the electric shower and replaced with a new bathroom suite and bath mixer tap which would run off the newly installed combi-boiler and provide a much better shower.
New tiling was hung in white with a vertical feature tile to break up the white tiles. This would add a feature without being so unique as to date quickly. The grey feature tiles were complimented by the grey wood effect vinyl floor tiles and chrome fittings.
The old standard radiator was replaced with a chrome towel rail which would provide very similar heat but would allow a more useful addition to the bathroom.
All work was completed by me - Tiling, Bathroom replacement, flooring, plumbing etc.

The Brief
My customer wanted laminate flooring fitting in their bedroom along with underlay and edging. As the customer had supplied all the laminate flooring, edging and underlay the job was completed within a day.
We've used Matthew a couple of times and both times he's been brilliant. Work was to a great standard and he's friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again!

The Brief
The bay window tiles had become tired over time and needed repainting.
Results/Solution
Exterior tile paint was used to paint the tiles and bring the front of the house back to a fresh new look. Hanging baskets were also fitted to add some more colour.

Results/Solution
Both wallpapers were patterned and striking. They really brought interest and warmth to the rooms.

Heavily patterned wallpaper was put up including a border in the girls room. All ceilings, and woodwork was repainted to a high standard.
